San Benedetto market

The B&B owner told me that the San Benedetto market was one of the largest covered markets in Italy and had one floor devoted to seafood, which makes sense for an island.
Sardinia also produces fine wines.
Unfortunately seafood and any uncooked food in general was not something I could buy to take away, only to enjoy served in trattorias.

Ittici, singular ittico, is of course descended from Greek ichthys.
Sardinian baked goods.
Breads are of course good in Sardinia and Italy in general.
Pretty big specimens.
I didn't buy any pomegranates but I did buy a kilo of cachi, also known as kaki, of the persimmon family.
