The view from breakfast

Breakfast at the B&B was taken at a balcony area which afforded views of the straits between La Maddalena, the island of Santo Stefano and the mainland.

It was up a small slope so had an elevated view. A panorama:

These were taken a bit further east on the road to Cala Francese later but shows the views in the neighbourhood of the B&B.

The beach wasn't suitable for bathing but boats could be hired here for excursions.

It was only 15 minutes drive across the top of La Maddalena to reach this sheltered cove.

As usual the water was clear.

There was a sizeable beach which would probably be crowded in high season. As it was besides me there was only a couple exploring the area. The footpath was closed off as it was off-season but it was trivial to bypass the barrier.

The Bar Oasi, obviously not in operation when I was there. Would have been nice if it had been and serving lunch.
