Calasetta is right on the northwestern tip of Sant'Antioco. It's one end of a ferry connection to the island of San Pietro. It's not a major ferry route, the ferries are for locals and tourists in season. This being off-season absolutely nothing was happening. It's a small town to start with, population about 3000.
Apparently it has Ligurian connections from the early settlers.

To finish off the day, back in Sant'Antioco town, an after dinner treat that I had.
This was a water vending machine. For a small sum per litre you could fill up your containers with spring water trucked in. The idea was to avoid creating more plastic bottle waste.
