I decided to explore the beaches south of Sant'Antioco town in the morning. First stop was Portixeddu where a couple of bathers had the cove all to themselves. I was actually quite far away as you can see from the zoom sequence.
A couple of panoramas before I forget.
A bit further down south, Portixeddu Accuau. That's the main island of Sardinia across the straits.
Maladroxia beach which is backed by many holiday homes and some restaurants. It has more facilities and from the size of the car park, would get crowded in summer.

Coaquaddus beach looked wilder and more suited for people looking for sport.
